Pattern description:
Ava is a silky and delicate stole, elegant and a bit retro.
Totally versatile, it can be worn in 4 different ways thanks to its buttonholes: as a stole simply placed on the shoulders, as a poncho with four buttons on the front, as a bolero by closing all the buttonholes or as a collar wrapped twice around the neck.
A pretty heart lace pattern forms an openwork band along the entire length of the stole.
The rectangular stole is knitted bottom up. It is bordered on each side with a strip of moss stitch.
The main part is knitted in stockinette st with a strip of lace slightly offset from the center.
The buttonholes are knitted at the same time horizontally.
You can knit the lace pattern following the written explanations or the diagram, depending on your preference.
